About

I started teaching audio in around 2002 at Trebas Institute. The subjects that I was teaching were Midi, Synthesis, and Digital Audio Recording. Since then, I have been involved in establishing a private post secondary college called Stylus College of Music & Sound Technology in Vancouver Canada. The college specializes in Audio Production & Sound Design.

I have developed over 40 courses related to sound production and have been involved in improving the delivery of course material by implementing new technologies in the class room and producing content that allows students to understand and use the content they are instructed. I have also created programs both full time and part time related to the field of audio production.

Recently, I have expanded my teaching to film and design by becoming a Mentor and a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University. I mainly cover technical aspects of film by teaching Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Premiere, and basic audio editing. In terms of design, I teach Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver.

I believe teaching has helped me compile an immense amount of knowledge in audio, video, and design. I encourage everyone to take part in teaching and sharing their knowledge to the public.
