In Week 1 lab we conducted a brain storming session based on the use of sensors and their possible form of interaction or response. In the individual session, I was given light as the input sensor and air as the output sensor. I introduced the idea of a air quality monitoring system which is based on the light’s intensity which indicates the air quality. The dimmer / darker the light the more polluted the air.

In the team scenario, we combined all our sensors and developed a communication warning system for a submarine. By touching, the sound (alarm) is triggered which triggers a powerful light that warms up the air which causes wind to form blowing out of the submarine indicating a problem, similar to the blow hole of a dolphin.
